Arctic Pride is very lucky to be able to arrange many of our events in local bars and venues in Tromsø, who will provide some of their own technical staff. Your work duties as a volunteer will therefore be more general and can include: • Preparing stages and venues • Assisting with promoting pride by e.g. hanging posters/tending stands • Ticket sales and door check • Photographing events Arctic Pride needs volunteers to keep our gears running and the pride spirit spreading! As a volunteer you get free access to the Arctic Pride Night Party, pride merchandise as tokens of gratitude and invitation to social events to meet other proud volunteers! From past experience, shifts last between 2 – 4 hours, and you only need to work one shift to get the benefits of a volunteer, but you are more than welcome to work more if needed. An overview of available shifts will be provided, and volunteers can sign up to a shift that suits their schedule on a first-come-first-served basis.
